A list of puns related to "Black Ash Inheritance"
EDIT: To be clear, my dad is a sterotypical, get rich quick scheming, deadbeat dad and I do not at all believe any of his schemes especially this one. Sorry if that wasn't clear haha

Welcome to /r/dominion's Kingdom of the Week!
For those who have not heard, Kingdom of the Week (hereafter, KotW) is a weekly thread for discussing a shared Kingdom.
Past and present KotW's can be found by following a link in the sidebar. As well, the sidebar lists the expansions from which the next KotW will be chosen, and a modmail link to submit KotW suggestions (subject to those constraints).
Feel free to discuss whatever you want in the comments below. This might include: play experience, dominant strategies, fun card combos, possible card substitutions, simulator results, you name it!
A note on spoilers: since the title of the KotW thread contains all the information you'll need to play the Kingdom, feel free to assume that others have played the KotW before visiting this thread. In particular, you should expect SPOILERS IN COMMENTS, so turn back now or forever hold your peace.
Harry finds out about the inheritance test and after the debacle in second year, takes it. While the goblins expect him to be angry at the limited results, he is instead happy that he is not the heir of Slytherin or Gryffindor or anyone else like the second coming of Merlin. He proceeds to share this via the Prophet to rub everyone's nose in how they thought he was the Heir of Slytherin.
I opened the wooden box in front of me, inside there was a small jar of brown powder resting on its side over red fabric. I unscrewed the lid of the jar and emptied its contents into my cup. โThis is it.โ I thought as I poured warm milk over the dark brown powder. โThe last cup of chocolate milk on Earth.โ After stirring the mixture for a while, making sure the cacao powder was well dissolved into the milk, I lifted the cup and drank it all in one go. As I put the cup back down on the table there was a slight knock on my door.
โWe are about to depart, professor. I have come to escort you to the shuttle.โ Said someone from outside my room.
โI am coming! Just a minute, please.โ
I stood up from my chair, grabbed my backpack and opened the door. On the other side there was a young man standing in full military uniform. โI thought everyone under the age of 30 had already left the planet.โ
โAre you alright, Professor Martin?โ
โEhโฆ Mmm... Yeah! I was just a little stunned that you were so young.โ
โFleet command sent us down to help with the final evacuation. Are you ready to depart, professor?โ
โOf course. Lead the way, please.โ
As we approached the doors to the hangar I could see that on the other side they had installed a portable airlock.
โThe hangar is currently open, the base commander didnโt want us to lose time opening and closing the blast doors.โ
โI see fewer people moving about than what I was expecting.โ
โWe are the last ones, professor. Everybody else is either on their way to orbit, already on the shuttle or setting up the hangarโs doors to automatically close behind us.โ
โSo we are going to be the last humans to stand on earth?โ
โI am afraid so.โ
โThat is quite depressing to think about.โ
โWe donโt have another choice.โ
โI know.โ I said with a defeated tone in my voice.
Looking at the distant, beyond the detracted blast doors, I could see the black ash falling from the sky over the dry and deserted remains of the Icelandic plains. If I had seen that scene in my younger years, I would blame it on a volcanic eruption, global warming or even nuclear winter. But I knew the reality was far worse.
After going through the airlock and with hazmat suits on, we walked toward the shuttle. A real miracle of engineering which 27 years prior most would have thought impossible. Even before the black ash came, humanity had already begun to settle the Moon in preparation for the first man mission to Mars. But back then our space explorations

Itโs a myth, you can google into it. Thereโs no evidence to support white ash as being superior to black ash.

Just seeing who has dealt with these side by side. I have a Hoof Reaper and find the Reaper side to be great for the old Zeppelin sound, and capable of very high gain. I was curious if the Black Ash and Park cover a lot of the same ground or if there's lots of differences since they are all three tone bender circuits Thank you for any input and Happy New Year
Hello, I really want to dye my hair truely black. Since it is my first time dying my hair, I have some questions. I have pale skin with a pink undertone so I really worry that I will look washed out. My hair is ashy blond to light brown. I have wanted black hair for years now, just not sure which kind of black would look good. I have sensitive skin.
Is it ok to use box dye or should I really use Wella Koleston? Should I use Welloxon 6% or 4%?
Thank you so much
As I finished entering the authorization code, the black viewport in front of us became transparent. On the other side of it, we saw a small canister, which was floating in the center of the room. The object couldnโt have been bigger than a regular bottle of wine. Around the canister, there were minuscule black particles barely visible to the naked eye, black ash.
โI donโt believe it.โ Said Sergeant Zรกrate.
โNeither did I when I first saw it.โ I said without taking my eyes off the inoffensive looking object.
โIt looks so normal.โ
โIt does, but its insides are unimaginably complex. The only useful thing we have been able to discover from it, is the material it is made of.โ
โYou mean the ashen steel?โ
โYes.โ
Ashen steel, the only material known to man that could withstand the corrosive properties of the black ash. It was ironic that the thing which had brought the end of the world was also what gave us hope, but it was just hope. By the time we were able to produce ashen steel in a somewhat reliable way, most parts of the world had already become a barren wasteland, hostile to any form of life.
Its production was considered too expensive and slow. So almost all of the ashen steel we had produced to date was used to construct Prometheus Base, while the rest was stored in case of emergency. โHow many died trying to reach the impact site? How many more died bringing it back? Only for the product of their sacrifice to be deemed unusable except for a now abandoned outpost.โ
โTell me, professor. Why did you decide to show it to me?โ
โTo be honest? Because I was bored and wanted someone to talk to.โ
โSo you decided that the very thing which caused the apocalypse would be a good topic to talk about?โ
โI mean. Why not?โ
โYou have spent too much time looking at ash under a microscope for your own good, my friend.โ Said Sgt. Zรกrate before the viewport got darkened again.
โWhat are you doing, sergeant?โ
โI am just helping a friend to get his mind off his work, this stuff is unhealthy. Come on, let's go to the mess hall and get us something to eat, I am hungry. Oh! By the way, could you stop calling me by rank? We have known each other for 9 years now, just call me Zรกrate.โ
โEmmโฆ Sure. But you also have to stop calling me professor, alright? You can just call me Martin.โ
โDeal.โ
Setting my tray down on the table, I could feel nothing else but resignation. My meal consisted of a b

Although the activity in the command center wasnโt as hectic as in the rest of the base, the atmosphere was still very tense. All the personnel in the room were either relaying orders from Fleet Command to the different battle groups or they were checking and rechecking status and logistical reports. When we arrived, Base Commander Orlov was standing by a display table reviewing some kind of battle plan. Sergeant Zรกrate gave the commander a salute barely breaking a sweat while I stood there gasping for air. The difference in our physical condition was clear to see for anyone in the room.
โAt ease, sergeant. I didnโt expect you to come alongside the professor.โ Said Comd.Orlov.
โWe were eating at the mess hall when you called, so I decided to escort him on his way here, sir.โ
โCommanderโฆ Orlovโฆ Whatโฆโ
โCatch your breath first, professor. In the meantime, showing you will be faster than trying to explain it myself.โ
With a few swift hand gestures from the commander, the battle plan on the table was replaced by several deep space satellite photos. In each one of the images, I could see objects of different sizes and shapes. These were flying in formation, the largest ones being surrounded in all directions by the smaller ones. At that moment, I almost let the smile that I had been hiding escape me. โCome on, calm down. You can have everyone think you have gone mad.โ
โWait, are you thoseโฆโ
โYes, Sgt. Zรกrate, those are ships.โ
โSo they have finally come to finish the job.โ
โWe are not so sure about that.โ
โWhat do you mean?โ
โEver since we detected them through our deep space satellites, they have barely made any headway toward us. Instead, they seem to be moving along the edge of the solar system.โ
โAre they observing us?โ I asked, as I was able to breathe normally again.
โIt looks that way. They have slowed down since their arrival and we havenโt detected any significant changes in their behavior.โ
โYou got anything I can work with, commander? You called me here for a reason.โ
โApart from the ashen steel, you and your team also found a data cache filled with texts. Am I right, professor?โ
โYes, commander. But we were never able to decipher them.โ
โWould those texts have any kind of resemblance with these?โ
With another set of swift hand gestures, a window appeared on the display overlaid on top of the images. On it, slowly scrolling upwards, there was block after bl

Though I couldnโt blame him, he was nervous, I was nervous, everyone in the whole damn base was nervous. Erkrok, the insect-like living rock, had agreed to come to the base on one of their shuttles. Accompanied only by a small security detail, the pilot and the co-pilot. The creature hasnโt specified the exact size of the โsmall security detailโ, so currently an entire company of marines was standing around the hangar waiting for their arrival.
โThis whole thing stinks in my opinion. The crab gave me a bad feeling the entire time I was looking at it.โ Said Zรกrate.
โI think it looks more like an insect than a crab. But you are, I also got an uncanny feeling looking at it. Maybe it was the lack of a proper face or all the little movements its body was doing incessantly.โ I said.
โCouldnโt we have told them to go to Mars instead of coming here?โ
โIt would have taken our representatives a whole month to go to Mars. Plus, we only have a couple of mining outposts out there.โ
โWhat if they are carrying a nuclear bomb in that shuttle?โ
โThis is Commander Orlov. The shuttle will be arriving in 10 minutes. Be ready, everyone.โ
โWe will find out soon enough, it seems.โ
The outer doors of the hangar opened up, allowing a ship not much bigger than our own shuttles to land. Through the cameras installed on the other side of the inner doors, we could see the design of the ship was quite utilitarian. A torpedo shaped body with an interstellar engine placed where the propeller should be and a cockpit viewport on the front. What really stood out was the condition of the outer hull, there wasnโt a single spot on it that wasnโt damaged, scorched or had a piece of it ripped off. โWhen was the last time they repaired that ship?โ
After it landed, the outer doors were closed again and air was quickly pumped into the airlock. When the air pressure was equalized on both sides, the inner doors opened up. At the same time a ramp was lowered from under the belly of the bruised and scar ship. From its insides, a group of a dozen individuals in hazmat suits walked down the ramp.
Erkrok was clearly among them, given it was the only one with four legs. Even from a distance I could tell it was a solid meter taller than the average human. The rest of the group was composed of bipedal beings just as tall as a huma
