Hi all, Iβm aiming (pun may be intended) to become a marksman for my countries military, I shoot often and have figured out Iβm left eye dominant. I still can shoot with my right eye but itβs very straining to keep my left eye closed So Iβm thinking of keeping both eyes open (heard good and bad things about that) or just using a paper blocker. Would this effect any training or selection if I were to go to the military? Thank you! FYI: Iβve got a decent shot, so if nothing else works out I figured the military would be a way to go, wouldnβt be my first choice but Iβd like it planned out.

Hello everyone,
I'm currently playing a Bosmer archer (non stealth this time, progress xD) who's aiming (pun intended) for Lion's Arrow at Archery 90. I'm also a vampire lord but ultimately I want to mostly use my human form and hemomancy in combination with Lion's arrow.
Now I have several questions about that: First one would be, can you use "Curtain Call" with Lion's Arrow? Because that seems kind of completely OP. I can 2-shot any humanoid by using a hemomancy spell and then firing with my bow bypassing the insane mana cost in the process.
Second, a lot of hemomancy spells are dot (which is fine since there are buffs to damage on targets affected by them), but some of them have an effect after X second. What happens when I'm constantly refreshing the spell? For example Blood Brand damage is fairly low but after 10 seconds it deals 200% more dmg. If I spam Lion's Arrow on my enemies, will I ever see that damage burst or will the dot's duration reset to 0 each time I hit my target?
FInal question about Lion's arrow alone this time: The spell that's stored, is it the one handed version or the dual casting one? Is there a point in taking the dual casting perk in destruction merely to use with Lion's Arrow?

If you walk dogs please consider reflective leashes and cheap LEDS that you can clip to their collars.
Bike lights are required, the rest are not, but take it from someone who has bike commuted 21 years, the last 12 year-round, lights can save your life. Plus these days, they really are not THAT expensive. The links above are for rechargeable, (which I personally recommend), but you can get even cheaper ones that require batteries. (I would recommend avoiding lights that use unusual or hard to find batteries, especially if you get out in the dark often).
Finally the obligatory follow-up, particularly aimed, (pun intended), at cyclists: Remember to aim your good headlights down while on heavy use trails like Cherry Creek and South Platte. I'll amend this follow-up to say that personally I do not recommend turning off your lights entirely on these trails. Hi all, this is probably more aimed (pun!?) at the hardcore tech guys really into getting their setup right. Most people just chose a mouse sensitivity that "feels" right and just play the game...
I'd like to hear everyone thoughts on the ADS "sensitivity" between ADS and hipfire. For quite some time I've been playing with the following settings...
7.5 game sensitivity
400 DPI
120 FOV (independent)
Relative ADS Sensitivity with 1.78 monitor coefficient and ADS multipliers at 1
Transition after zoom.
Now basically this gives me 45cm/360Β° when not ADS. When I go ADS the sens drops (gets slower) but I've played like this alot and am used to it. It "feels" OK/normal but this is the first FPS game I am legit serious about getting everything dialed. Basically hipfire is 45cm/360Β° and ADS feels more like 60cm/360Β°. HOWEVER, I'm finding muscle memory is not getting better. For instance as I scan some points I'm covering while not ADS it'll take X amount of movement. But when ADS to cover that same distance now takes ~30% more movement. This sensitivity difference between ADS/hipfire is killing game consistency.
Now I am playing with these settings...
7.5 game sensitivity
400 DPI
120 FOV (independent)
LEGACY ADS Sensitivity with low zoom multiplier at 1.37 (I only use iron sight weapons and haven't set the other multiplier)
Transition gradual.
This now makes my sensitivity the same (45cm/360Β°) when hip firing and ADS. It takes some getting used to as ADS sensitivity feels 33% faster but in reality its the same as hip fire its just the "zooming in" I get from independent FOV from 120 -> 90 that makes its seem fast. Once I get used to the slight change it is sooooo much more consistent.
I spend most of my game NOT ADS and I am used to how much mouse movement it takes to move between two/three/four points I am covering. With the old settings the ADS lowing the sens threw me off and I had to think alot more while ADS aiming rather then getting 95% of it done with just a muscle memory flick.
Having the same sensitivity between ADS/hip fire means all the non-aiming mouse movements I do during a game are basically "practice" for when I am ADS as now both sensitivity's are the same/linked.
Has anyone else played with these settings or had a similar experience?
Iβm not trying to break rule 4 rather just maybe start a conversation, listen to othersβ experiences, and share my own. If this kind of post is allowed and over used I apologize in advance.
To start off my experience Iβm in no way an amazing player, I float around gold III to gold I. Whenever I get to the higher side of gold I run into players that are really good when it comes to aiming and controlling recoil. However, sometimes I canβt help think that someone controlling the F2 or Scorpion on a full mag dump is suspect. Also, there are instances in gun fights where my opponent crouch spams and has near perfect aim while doing so, even if βR3β (aim analog) and βoβ (crouch button) are very difficult to use at the same time. Iβve even died to someone 100% controlling the SMG-11 in a medium range gun fight.
The only reason I ask is Iβm getting really unmotivated to get better and have contemplated just quitting Siege, since I canβt compete vs MKB or macros. I must admit some influence, aside my own experience, is that Iβve seen potential cheat abuse videos on YouTube. Other teammates I play with claim theyβve died to similar near perfect ways as well which fuels that assumption.
Ultimately, I want to know more experiences to finish formulating my decision on sticking around or just jumping ship. Iβd love to hear if anyone in this community thinks itβs a long shot to believe Iβm playing an unfair game or Iβm just over reacting to near perfect aim killcams. This post is aimed (pun intended) for a discussion rather than some rage crusade.

DPS - Damage per second RoF/RPM - Rate of fire/Rounds per minute Crit dmg - critical hit damage Crit chance - Chance for a bullet to be a critical hit
What is DPS? DPS stands for Damage Per Second, and it is basically how much damage you can output over any given period of time.
How is DPS calculated? DPS is calculated by taking in to consideration a few things. The base damage of the gun you are using, the size of the magazine (how many bullets it holds) and the RPM (rounds per minute, aka...rate of fire)
Can't I just highlight the attachment to see if it increases me DPS? Yes and no. Have you ever tried putting a higher rate of fire magazine on the liberator? Bet it increases your DPS on paper, but if you can't control the gun and land the shots it doesn't matter how high your dps is!
So what attachments are the best? Well...I'm glad you asked....
Magazine - You can get a high end blueprint from the vendor upstairs that's pretty easy to craft. Your best roll would come in the form of increased magazine size (more bullets to shoot before you have to reload, thus more "up time" on your target) and increased rate of fire (faster pewpew = higher dps). Just be mindful and make sure you can control the added recoil that comes along with the increased RoF.
Grip - There are many grips out there and you need to find what works best for you. On weapons like the Liberator with a ridiculous rate of fire you want over all stability increase. Horizontal stability and vertical recoil control are both nice but I BELIEVE (correct me if I'm wrong) that we are going to get the most benefit from over all stability.
Suppressor - You have a few good choices here, depending on what your DPS already looks like and what your armor/HP is sitting at. If you have a high DPS but lower health/armor rating I would recommend going with something that gives you effective range increase along with threat reduction, allowing you to stay further back and draw less attention. If you are comfortable getting shot at, then aim (pun intended, sorry couldn't help it) for something with range and crit chance.
Optics - The best roll you can get is going to be headshot dmg and crit hit chance. If you aren't comfortable landing constant hea

The only playlist that will not have the Assault Rifle for now is Proving Grounds, once the settings go in.I can try and explain a little more on our thoughts around the AR, at least based on looking at data from millions of matches from the last two settings changes. These points are in addition to the feedback we have received, and our own watching of specific encounters. Iβm just talking about analyzing massive amounts of data here, and not subjective opinions.
The data do not show that the AR is over-powered. It is not killing more than other weapons in its tier, and not above what we expect. It may feel over-powered at times, but, at least in the data, thatβs more due to the points below than to any real balance issue. The data show the AR is well-balanced across the rest of the sandbox.
The data do show that the ARβs killing power went up after we reduced access to the SMG. This isnβt surprising because the SMG was one of the main counters to the AR at closer range. When we made the SMG less accessible, it became less likely to have a counter to an AR if you have dropped yours, so ARs are βwinningβ more gunfights at that range. So, ironically, the SMG change further emphasized the issues we now agree we are having with the AR.
The data do show that starting around the Diamond level, the effectiveness of the AR does not increase with skill.
Correcting for skill shows that top players arenβt any more effective with the AR than a Diamond level player. Another way to say this is that the winner in a gunfight between two ARs above Diamond level is currently more about random luck than it is about skill. I think, for competitive play, we want the player with greater skill to win a given gunfight, without luck being too much of a factor. This is one of the primary data-driven reasons we are concerned about using the AR in competitive play.
For comparison, the effectiveness of the Pistol increases consistently with the skill of the player, so we feel the pistol is currently appropriate in competitive play.

And after 4 battles that 1 day of premium i bought was gone, and i was quite annoyed because i paid for that premium time. I contacted support to try resolve the problem, and the message i recieved just showed me how gajin is just a bunch of greedy bastards, wouldn't let anyone to have ANYTHING for free really.
Edit: In my opinion what gajin did with the premium time is just sad and scummy but i also understand that gajin as a company must earn money to run the games, but to be so greedy to put people in debt over their mistake is just sad quite frankly, and its not like its a massive amount of GE or a premium vehicle it was literally not even 24 hours of premium time. And after they removed that premium time i BOUGHT premium time with my own money, and i think that premium time enticed people to buy more.

Hopefully no one here will get on it to see if it actually happens but I think to better solve the issue would be to blacklist these people so they have to play eachother. It would be less obvious than a ban. They would just be forever stuck playing eachother. Until one day they realize what's happened. A ban would just cause them to make a new account but the long con would dupe them for longer and keep them away from the public.

Today marks the launch of our brand new(hopefully useful) tool- CSBootcamp! For the past month or so we have been grinding tireless on this project trying to push it out there as soon as possible, and have finally produced something worth showing to the public. From the custom SourceMod plugin to the website design & backend, everything is 100% custom and created to how we, and you, wanted it. We are still nowhere near a final complete self-sustaining system- but with some effort and some elbow grease we can definitely bring a finalized solution to the table in the fairly near future.
We are VERY anxious and excited to see the communities overall response towards this and would be more than happy to answer any question or concerns you may have. You can contact us through e-mail, or we will be responding to the Reddit post on either our official SubReddit or the GlobalOffensive Reddit. As the entire system is in a very early stage of beta (probably not even beta, more like alpha), we hope you understand that the system may be chalked full of bugs and other unforseen things.
