A list of puns related to "3d Warehouse"
In Sketchup 2018, when I try to upload directly into the model, the object doesn't import. When I download the object from the internet the oldest version it let's me download is 2019. When I convert that 2019 version into a 2018 version so I can use it, the dynamic components no longer work.
I've been using the warehouse for years, and some of the objects I've used in the past like Pella and Marvin windows no longer work because of this.
Am I doing something wrong? Or is it time for me to move on from sketchup?
(I know people are going to tell me just to subscribe to the service but honestly that's kind of bullshit. You can't prevent me from using objects I've been using for years just because you want to milk me for more money.)
I'm still running Sketchup Make (17.2.2554) as (I think) that was the last version that was still a standalone app.
And it's been serving my needs just fine. However, as of very recently, I no longer can import about half of the models in the 3D warehouse. Some work, some do not. And by not working, I specifically mean that I can open the model inside the 3D warehouse view, and click DOWNLOAD and...nothing happens. No errors, no pop-ups, just nothing.
I'd say about 30% of the models, I can download.
After clicking around this morning trying to find a rhyme or reason (I can't) as to why some work and some don't, I finally got this pop-up message:
>You have reached 75% of your allotted daily downloads. To access unlimited 3D Warehouse models, subscribe to SketchUp. Check out your options here.
Is this the culprit? Is Trimble messing with things even more and breaking the 3D warehouse?
