Background: Across RPGSEA is kind of like Stumbleupon / directory for RPGs made by SEAsian folks.
Well...today, I just finished adding the 75th game to the site :)
If you look at https://across-rpgsea.com/directory you can even see a nice tile of the game thumbnails. These were mostly submitted by SEAsian designers themselves (then I manually check/upload/save).
When I made the site in March, at the time I really just wanted a repository of games shared by folks during Session Zero Con (a convention that happened January).
Now 9 months later, it feels really good that Across RPGSEA is still alive and kicking β because I'm really proud of the site, and maybe, folks are having a better, easier time discovering our indie games.

I mean, we hardly have any facilities that would render us as 'good hosts' :/ I look at the SEA Games this year and the amount invested into the 2017 SEA Games then I think that we, as a country, are going to look so dilapidated compared to our neighbours. and, It's not like we have any money that would be worth spending on this event. WE HAVE BIGGER PROBLEMS TO SOLVE! It's easy for countries like Singapore and Malaysia because they have the revenue and are already established. Mean whilst, we are in the midst of probably one of the most important periods, politically and economically, that the country has experienced and I feel that the burden of holding the 2019 SEA Games is just unnecessary and quite frankly stupid plainly because its going to put so much strain on the next government that takes power :/ What are your opinion on it guys? Do you think they should just say '2019 Manila SEA Games' not 'Philippines' since everything but a few sporadic events will occur in Manila? And what's your opinion on us holding the 2019 SEA Games?
Hi everyone,
A few months back I saw this up-and-coming game for either the Switch or the PC (or both) that's about a high school boy from either Malaysia or Indonesia. It looked like one of those cozy slice of life narrative games that have drama elements. All I remember other than that is it features the character's girlfriend (or crush) in some significant way.
Other details that might help: I THOUGHT it was being published by iam8bit's Asia division, but I couldn't find it on their site. I also distinctly remember it being still in development.

Here's the main setting, Angkor!
And a major rival city/empire, Bagan!

No more really needs to be said, just watch, imagine the game and enjoy
Age of Empires 2 has several expansions with one being the Rise of the Rajas which focuses on medieval Southeast empires. There are four campaigns focusing on the rise of the Burmese, Javanese, Cambodian, and Vietnamese empires and kingdoms. We play as Gajah Mada as he fights for independence from the Mongols and builds the kingdom of Java, as Suryavarman I as he builds the kingdom of Cambodia, as Bayinnaung as he builds the empire of medieval Burma, and as Le Loi as he fights to free Vietnam from the Chinese Ming Dynasty.
