A list of puns related to "2011 Nba Lockout"
Okay, so let me give you guys some history here. I've been a sports fan since 2014, so I wasn't around for that NBA Lockout of 2011. But I did some research and learned of its existence, and with COVID pushing back the start of the 2020-21 season as well as talks about shortening the season, what was the NBA Lockout of 2011 like for you guys? As someone who wasn't even around during this time, I'd love to know your what experience was like with the Lockout.
Please feel free to share your experiences down below :)

Few notes:
I chose to exclude any salaries below the minimum rookie contract for each given year (this includes 10-day, 30-day, 90-day contracts) because I wanted the data to reflect yearly salaries. I also chose to begin the dataset in 2011 because thats not only when the last lockout took place, but also when the last Collective Bargaining Agreement was signed.
Also bonus: What would happen if an entire season were to be cancelled? What would you do?
P.S. This also gives me an excuse to post how r/nba reacted to the 2011 Lockout
hey everyone, I have a school project related to negotiation and I was going to write it on the 2011 NBA lockout. Does anyone know or have any links to any case studies related to the lockout or any video links that can explain it well? thanks.
edit: Ive looked at Wikipedia but its very hard to figure it out from their.
Well the summer has been long, the off-season excruciating, and the lockout has been infuriating.
Ah, yes, the big elephant in the room..the Lockout.
As you all are aware, the NBPA and NBA owners are in a dead lock as far as negotiations go...there are many aspects that factoring into the debate, from contracts for rookies, revenue sharing, etc. but that doesn't mean we have to stop enjoying the NBA:
Is there a source to show the amount of financial loss?
Lack of incentive for owners to not holdout in CBA negotiations as they did then?

Aaron Slegers, Pitcher, LAA - tallest player in baseball at 6β10β.
Bryan Reynolds, CF, SFG - has the most triple doubles (most triples in 2021 (8), then the most doubles of players with the most triples (35)).
Corbin Burnes, P, MIL - had the highest K% and the highest whiff% in 2021 - meaning he probably has great hand eye coordination to throw the ball where he wants it to go. He could easily throw a basketball through a hoop.
Starling Marte, OF, NYM - having a lot of steals in basketball is an important defensive statistic. And in 2021, Marte had the most steals in MLB with 47!
Tim Tebow, OF, FA - heβs played in the NFL, in AAA baseball, and is just an all around Athletic guy. He could probably play basketball too. Itβs worth a shot!
