A list of puns related to "2010β11 Nhl Season"
After a decade of stagnant offense and being in the basement of the league for scoring this is a huge improvement.
Even though we have some disappointing and frustrating losses this season. This is a huge step in the right direction for all your developing young players.
I had a question that I kept asking myself... Who draws the most suspensions? So I created a spreadsheet, available here. with every suspension since the beginning of the 2010-11 season. Here are the results:

How has your favorite team fared since the 2010-11 season? Does their record correlate to their success? I hope you enjoy this graphic. It was inspired from the recent "last 10 years standings" post for MLB teams.

With a .115 Point Percentage and a 19 point pace, they are set to beat the 74-75 Washington Capitals .131 Point Percentage for worst season of all time.
You can find the list of worst teams here
Lets hear it. I'll put my predictions in a separate comment so you can upvote or downvote at will.

Alan Ryder publishes a statistical NHL review of every season (dating back to 2005-06). It uses a custom formula to calculate "Player Contribution" (PC), for offensive and defensive play, as well as goaltending. It allows for a relatively objective list of the most "valuable players," that are frequently at odds with what the media thinks.
It's pretty damn fascinating, and gives a lot of insight into the game, as well as explanations for some of what has happened this year so far (are the Rangers and Blues surprising you?).
Some highlights: Toews was the most valuable forward, Alex Pietrangelo the most valuable d-man, Travis Zajac the best defensive forward, Cam Ward the most valuable goalie, and Corey Crawford the top rookie.
Read it. It's very in-depth and a must-read for anyone interested in the statistical side of hockey.
Feels really good to get this win on the road against the rival. Hamiti is up there with Drake Ayala as most impressive freshman, and Barnett and Amos is also looking really good. Still plenty of time till the national tournament, I think we have a few sleeper guys who can shock the country and make a run
Teams to win in their first ever regular season game: Los Angeles (1967), Oakland (1967), Buffalo (1970), Atlanta Flames (1972), Ottawa (1992), Tampa Bay (1992) and Vegas (2017).
Teams to tie their first game: Minnesota and St. Louis (1967 against each other) and Florida (1993).
I did not include the teams the NHL absorbed from the WHL in 1979.
How do we like the Kraken's chances tonight?
Soup man good?
