The GameCube was released in North America in 2001. The NES was released in North America in 1985. So, the GameCube is now older than the NES was when the GameCube was released.

I find this really interesting. I have friends who still only play GameCube games because that was their last Nintendo console. And it feels much weirder to consider someone only playing the NES in 2002.
