A list of puns related to "Total War"
I didn't see anything in the rules about Pre-Orders being off-limits, and I have proof that I've paid for the codes, but if this is off-limits just let me know mods!
Usually, I do Secret Santa or some kind of giveaway or charity around Christmas time, but my mental health and wallet were unusually depressed this year. Now that at least one of those has been fixed, and the announcement that Total Warhammer 3 has expanded more co-op slots, I figured this would be a good chance to make up on that. Here's the rules:
Two Codes randomly selected from people in the comments. Possible bonus points for outrageously terrible fake sob stories about why you need the game.
Two codes for the funniest or best thing you can leave in the comment section or the DM's. Nothing illegal please. If you DM me begging for the game or "free code, please" you will be DQ'd.
I'll select winners before the release date and provide all the codes the day of.
Happy Late Slaneeshmas, and remember: Khorne cares not where the blood flows from, as long as it flows!
Just curious

Tried playing Shogun 2 last night since I got it free a few months ago. I've never heard a single bad thing about this game, either. Might be because at this stage of it's life, the only really visible posts on here are nostalgia or someone finally getting a 100% total unification or something. But I tried it out and it just felt... Bad to play. Graphically, 0 issues for when it was released, and all the units look great. But the battles just feel so odd. And they're all the same. The only differences being that the ai will actually attempt to use a terrain advantage every chance it gets, which is cool. But when they take the top of a hill or something, I just shoot at them till they come down. Other than that, it's infantry/ranged/cav and maybe it's the difficulty but there's so many spears that there never seems like a good time to even use cav.
I don't know. There's just so, so much variation in armies, units, maps, factions within the same race, etc that I'm having trouble seeing myself enjoying total war after warhammer, and I'm honestly worried since we've seen first hand how long CA is willing to support a non-warhammer title after release with Thrones of Britannia, Three Kingdoms, and Troy.
We'll see how things go, I guess. I absolutely think they could make a 40k series despite what lots in this sub think, and that would be the honestly be easy rights to secure considering the success of the current series.
Anyways. Does anyone else have a similar experience? Am I just spoiled since I started with Warhammer 1 as my first total war game? Am I just a stick in the mud pessimist??
This is a double-barreled giveaway because it's a special occasion! Giving away Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order and Total War: Warhammer, both awesome games in their own respect. To enter, include either Total War or Star Wars somewhere in your comment (not both, or neither). Good luck!
Edit: I should mention the Star Wars game is through Origin, but just listed this as steam giveaway cause they were together.
Double Edit: Congrats to u/jintimus (TW) and u/ThatKidTopex (SW), thank you everyone for participating!
The button should declare war on all factions that have been discovered and then automatically declare war on factions as you discover more. It would be a neat feature that both encouraged that type of playthrough and made it less tedious for those who want to play a this is total war campaign. They could also add achievements for completing those campaigns.
